A Look Back at 2025 Dining in Las Vegas

No Sponsors, No Free Meals, No Bullshit

One of the biggest reasons I started Vegas Uncomped was simple:

I got tired of being lied to.

Not accidentally misled.

Professionally manipulated.

We live in a world where people outsource their opinions to social media. And when those opinions are paid for, comped, sponsored, or “partnered,” that’s not advice, that’s advertising. I’ve had more than a few run-ins with big-name influencers who swear that taking paid sponsorships somehow frees them to be honest. When I ask how honesty works when the meal was free and the check came with a wire transfer or free play… I get blocked.

Funny how that works.

If you’re wondering where this model thrives, look no further than Resorts World and Fontainebleau, two properties that leaned hard into influencer culture and are now dealing with very real problems. Restaurants are a huge part of that machine. They print money when the hype works.

So instead of another “Best Restaurants in Vegas” list, I figured we’d do this properly.

This is a look back at 2025 dining experiences I actually paid for.

You won’t find only bougie, influencer-bait restaurants here. That’s not how most people actually eat in Vegas, and it’s definitely not how I do it.

These are places on or just off the Strip, accessible by rideshare, and realistic if you drink like I do. Because nothing kills a vacation faster than a DUI in Nevada, and I’m not about to pretend otherwise.
