If you ever needed proof that Vegas crowds can be just as wild as the bands they come to see, look no further than a Wednesday night, Sept 24th, 2025, with Mötley Crüe. Going into the show, it felt like the Same Ol’ Situation, but it wasn’t without drama.

The Ticketmaster Shakedown

The residency was supposed to kick off in March-April, but an announcement dropped that it was delayed to September-October due to a health issue with Vince Neil. Fair enough, shit happens. But here’s the kicker: fans who’d already booked flights and hotels were screwed. Personally, I couldn’t make the rescheduled show, so I had to cancel for a refund and buy new tickets. A process that leaves a bad taste in my mouth as a fan.

I mean, think about all the people who had hotel and flight arrangements, what a pain. Ticketmaster could’ve at least set up some kind of site to swap tickets. Then, as news of slow sales spread, I received another email: my September tickets had been changed. They closed the balcony for a few shows. I went from first-row balcony, killer seats for Dolby Live, one of my favorite spots in Vegas with its 5,200 (residency) seats and awesome sound, to far-right side obstructed.

A complete slap to fans, IMO. I canceled those and rebought them for the second time.

Ticketmaster really needs to work on this; the experience feels awful and lacks any customer service. Try calling them, and it feels like you are getting tech support in India for your refrigerator.

Vegas Gets Loud

Fast-forward to show night. Crüe fans, young and old, were all over the Strip, black shirts, teased hair, the whole vibe. Before the show, they were blasting a mix of Crüe and other rock. Shirts were $55, ridiculous, but we still grabbed one…….. each

Pro tip: You can bring a drink in; they just pour it into a plastic cup. Those two beers from my hotel room and the four in my pockets… shhh… saved me around $100.
