I’ve stayed out of this rumor… okay, well… kind of.

Because honestly, I have a ton of respect for Tilman Fertitta. I lived most of my life in the Houston area, still do about 6-7 months out of the year, so I’ve been around his businesses for a long time. Ate at his restaurants. Watched what he’s built. He’s been a staple in Houston for decades. In addition to the Landry’s empire and Golden Nugget, he’s also the owner of the Houston Rockets, the entertainment complex Pleasure Pier in Galveston, and several other hotels and bars in the area.

And if you’ve been around his businesses long enough, you know one thing.
He doesn’t build things halfway.
