Fall is my favorite time of the year in Las Vegas.
A lot of people still act like the desert only has two seasons: “hot” and “too hot.” They’re wrong. The desert has real seasons. And when the temps finally drop out of air-fryer range, that’s usually when I head home and start thinking about eating outside again.
Don’t expect this to be another influencer patio list. Those things already exist, and half of them are trying to convince you Mon Ami is worth it. It isn’t. And if your idea of outdoor dining includes watching Amazon costume people get into a fight, you’re not looking for the same thing I am. Although that can be fun too..
I wanted the places I’d actually return to. Good food. A seat where the slot machines aren’t the soundtrack. A mix of on-Strip exceptions and spots that require leaving the Strip entirely.
“Because if you haven’t left the Strip, you haven’t really seen Vegas at all.”
No Ole Red. No BrewDog. No Alexxa’s, No Salt n Ivy, certainly No Primrose, or Mon Ami Gabi. Just the ten I’d do again.
