There’s a moment almost everyone has on the Strip.

You’re standing on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard, waiting for the light to change. A crowd has formed. Someone is holding a yard-long margarita. Another person is filming the fountains at Bellagio. A group of friends debates whether they should walk or just call an Uber.

Then the signal flips.

Two hundred pedestrians surge forward at once while taxis and rideshares try to sneak through before the light turns red. It feels less like crossing a street and more like playing a live-action version of Frogger.

And it raises a question that sounds radical until you’ve experienced it firsthand:
