I realize this is going to piss some people off.
Good.
9.1% of American adults currently smoke cigarettes. That’s it.
Canada’s adult smoking rate is about 11%. They are not flying here for the ashtray either.
On a casino floor, the number that matters more is this: in a 2,136-person patron survey, 86% did not smoke. 87% of frequent players did not smoke. 89% of players making over $150,000 did not smoke. 86% said they prefer a smoke-free casino. 90% said safe indoor air mattered.
So why does the minority get to decide what everyone else breathes?
